Russell Cooper

Russell Cooper serves as the Manager of Clean Power Finance at Nova Scotia Power since November 2021, having previously held positions such as Manager of Commercial Investments at Emera Inc. from April 2015 to November 2021, and various financial roles at Nova Scotia Power from 2008 to 2015, including Fuels Special Projects Manager and Senior Financial Analyst. With extensive experience in developing economic models, preparing budgets and forecasts, conducting variance analyses, and providing financial reporting, Russell has also worked in accounts receivable and payable at Xstrata Zinc and as an Assay Laboratory Assistant at Noranda/Falconbridge Brunswick Mine. Russell holds an MBA-CMA in Accounting and Business/Management and a Bachelor of Commerce with a focus on Accounting, both from Saint Mary's University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Memorial University.
