Michelle Dejesus

Michelle DeJesus is an experienced Occupational Therapist and Business Owner at Neuplay Therapy since January 2019 and has been serving as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital since May 2018. At Joe DiMaggio, Michelle independently organizes and executes therapy sessions targeting various developmental areas and conducts thorough pediatric evaluations. Michelle has also completed Level II Fieldwork at St. Catherine's Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital, where responsibilities included patient evaluation and personalized intervention planning. Additionally, Michelle leads the IDEA Team at Nova Southeastern University, focusing on diabetes education in minority and underserved communities. Formerly a National Board Member for the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity, Michelle's academic background includes a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health from the University of South Florida.
