Stephen Obrien

Stephen O'Brien is a Professor and Director of Research at Nova Southeastern University since January 2012 and serves as the Chief Scientific Officer at the Theodosius Dobzhansky Center for Genome Bioinformatics since December 2011. Prior to these roles, O'Brien was the Chief at the Laboratory of Genomic Diversity at NCI-NIH from 1972 to December 2011. O'Brien earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from Cornell University between 1966 and 1971.
