Junaid Sterris is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the New Business Development Sub Saharan Africa and Performance Manager for RSA at NovaSource Power Services since May 2020. Prior to this role, Junaid worked at SunPower Corporation as a Performance and Operations Engineer from August 2016 to May 2020, and at Cape Advanced Engineering from December 2008 to August 2015 as a Team Leader in Renewable Energy and R&D Technician. Junaid has expertise in setting up test cells and utilizing SCADA systems for data acquisition, with proficiency in data analysis using Microsoft Excel. Junaid holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Educational background also includes attendance at Oude Molen Technical High School and Athlone Technical College.
