Sumit Narsale is an experienced engineer specializing in photovoltaic (PV) power plant performance. Currently working at NovaSource Power Services since April 2021, Narsale manages solar PV generating fleets, maintaining high operational indicators and providing analytical support for troubleshooting and improving plant performance. Previously, Narsale held several positions at First Solar from February 2016 to April 2021, including roles as Engineer in PV Power Plant Performance, Lead of Metrics, Analytics & Systems, Senior Analytics Engineer, and Analyst for PV Fleet Cost Validation. Narsale laid the groundwork for data-driven decision-making, improving operational efficiency significantly. Prior to First Solar, Narsale contributed as a Software Engineer at Siemens PLM Software and worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Arizona State University. Narsale holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute.
