Minh Tran is an experienced Interconnect Designer at NovAtel Inc. since November 2012, collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, and Hardware teams to implement new products by selecting components and drafting cable assemblies. Prior to NovAtel, Minh worked as a Mechanical/Electrical/Cable Design Technologist at General Dynamics Canada, where design work met customer requirements and adhered to company standards. Experience also includes roles as an Estimator/Purchaser at Teledyne VariSystems, Inc., and as a Field Application Engineer at Sanmina-SCI, supporting cable assembly design and manufacturing. Minh's career began as a Quote Technician at Hi-Tech Assembly Systems. Minh holds a 2-year diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and completed Academic Upgrading at Alberta Vocational College.
