Juan Cabrera-Luque

Juan Cabrera-Luque, MSc, PhD, possesses extensive experience in the field of analytical development and immunology. Currently serving as Senior Manager at Novavax since January 2023, Juan leads a team focused on developing and validating immunoassay methods for recombinant protein vaccine products and defines strategic goals for the Immunology group. Before this, Juan held the position of Principal Scientist at MilliporeSigma, overseeing scientific integrity and regulatory compliance while adapting service capabilities to industry needs. Previous roles at Novavax included Senior Scientist and Scientist II, contributing to the development of immunoassays for vaccine characterization. In earlier positions, Juan served as R&D Scientist III at GeneDx, leading workflows for high-throughput analysis, and as Assistant Research Professor at Children's National Health System, advancing research in Urea Cycle Disorders. Juan holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Valencia and a Master's degree from Universidad de Córdoba.
