James Day is an experienced professional with a robust background in defense-related strategic planning and technical support. Currently serving in science, engineering, and technical support at Accenture Federal Services since 2022, James also provides strategic planning to the Department of Defense as a strategic planner at Novetta Solutions since 2013. Previous roles include military assistant and chief of staff to the Principal Deputy ASD(R&E) at the United States Department of Defense, and lead evaluator for the Future Combat System at the U.S. Army. James has significantly contributed to the development of key military systems, such as the Non-Line of Sight Cannon and Mortar, and has held leadership positions in missile defense testing. With advanced degrees in strategic studies and applied physics, along with a bachelor's in mechanical engineering, James has a solid educational foundation that supports a distinguished career spanning multiple decades in defense.
