Rodrigo Santos

Rodrigo Santos is a seasoned professional in the field of cellular and molecular biology, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at clock.bio since July 2024, where responsibilities include co-developing and managing scientific operations and strategy. Prior to this role, Rodrigo held the position of Entrepreneur in Residence at Novo Holdings from November 2022, contributing valuable support for due diligence and technical inquiries. With extensive experience at Mogrify as Director of Cell Technologies from June 2019 to July 2022, Rodrigo established scientific labs and led a team of 25 in technology development. Previous roles included Head of Technology at bit.bio, Principal Scientist at Horizon Discovery, and various positions within the cell engineering team at Horizon Discovery. Rodrigo holds a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Cambridge and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Universidade de Coimbra.
