Hugo Lopes started their career at Banco Espírito Santo S.A. in 2004 as a Financial Controller. Hugo then moved on to addWise Group in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Business Consultant, handling various management consulting projects, research work, and business setup in Portugal and Angola. In 2009, they joined NOVO BANCO as a Controller responsible for the Management Information team in the Human Resources Department. In 2012, they were promoted to Senior Vice President at NOVO BANCO.
Hugo Lopes attended ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Management. In 2010, they participated in the Advanced Management Programme in Banking at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. In 2011, they attended the Inter-Alpha Banking School. Most recently, in 2019, Hugo Lopes completed a Leadership Program at Nova School of Business and Economics.
