Mari Lilith Lund is a Senior Scientist in Human Health Biosolutions at Novonesis since January 2024, with prior experience as a Senior Scientist at Chr. Hansen from October 2021 to January 2024. Mari has a strong research background, having served as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD student at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research from March 2013 to September 2021, where work focused on the enteroendocrine system related to food intake and metabolism. Educational qualifications include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Biology-Biotechnology from the University of Copenhagen, obtained in 2012 and 2010, respectively. Additionally, Mari held roles as a Research Assistant at Novo Nordisk A/S and as a Laboratory Assistant at the Department of Plant Sciences and Biotechnology. Exchange programs included training in single-cell transcriptomic techniques at IGBMC in Strasbourg and HPLC and amperometry at the University of Brighton.
