Merete Færgemand is a seasoned professional in leadership and organizational transformation, currently serving as a Global HR Business Partner to the EVP at Novonesis since January 2024. Prior to this role, significant experience at Novozymes spanned from September 2009 to January 2024, including positions such as Director of Leadership and Organizational Transformation and Senior Director of Global Quality. Merete's career also includes managerial roles at Chr. Hansen and Novo Nordisk, along with leadership in technical services across Europe and Asia Pacific at Novozymes. An academic background in Food Science and Dairy Technology is supported by a PhD from the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University of Denmark and an MSc in Chemistry from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
