Nikolaj Ilsted Bech currently serves as the Senior IP Licensing and Partnering Manager at Novonesis, starting in January 2024, and as the Senior Manager at Novozymes IP License and Partnering since January 2023, focusing on enabling biosolutions for sustainable industrial processes and consumer products. Previously, a significant tenure at Teknologisk Institut from June 2011 to January 2023 included roles such as Sektionsleder for Opfinderrådgivningen and Consultant, specializing in the commercialization of inventions and intellectual property rights. Additional experience spans positions at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, a Tech Transfer office, and the National Environmental Research Institute, with early roles as a Research Scientist at various organizations. Nikolaj holds a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen, completed in 2000.
