Oliver Dearden

Oliver Dearden is an experienced media professional with a strong background in broadcast journalism. Currently serving as Deputy Managing Editor and Supervising Producer for "All Things Considered" at NPR since August 2012, Oliver has also held the roles of Line Producer for "Weekend Edition" and Producer for "Morning Edition." Prior to this, Oliver worked at BBC Radio 5 Live from 2008 to August 2012 as a Senior Broadcast Journalist, where responsibilities included output editing and senior production. Oliver began career at BBC Radio Wiltshire from 2003 to 2008 as a Broadcast Journalist and morning show presenter. Academic qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from City St George’s, University of London, and a 2:1 Hons degree in Politics from Northumbria University.
