Mark Flickinger

Mark Flickinger currently serves as EVP Project Delivery and Construction at TransAlta, beginning in July 2024. Previously, Flickinger held the position of Vice President of Construction at Clearway Energy Group since September 2018, and at NRG Energy since May 2015. Additional experience includes Vice President of Construction at Pattern Energy Group from July 2020 to July 2024 and Sr. Director of EPC West Coast Renewables at M+W Energy Inc. from March 2013 to May 2015. Flickinger also worked as a Project Manager at ACCIONA from June 2007 to April 2013 and Vice President of Commercial Operations at RCG Group LLC from 2002 to 2008. Earlier roles include President of Guinevere Enterprises, specializing in construction and renovation from October 1982 to October 2002, and Principal/Owner at Classic Kitchen & Bath from August 1995 to March 2002. The career began with a role as Project Manager for Walt Disney World Construction from February 1980 to October 1982. Flickinger holds a degree from the University of Florida.
