Bert Rietveld

Bert Rietveld has extensive experience in the fields of medical isotopes and energy efficiency, currently serving as the Value Chain Manager for short-lived medical isotopes and Project Manager for production facilities at NRG since July 2015. Prior to joining NRG, Bert worked at ECN from January 1980 to June 2015, where roles included Business Development for Biomass and Energy Efficiency, and management of various fuel cell technologies, including Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells and Solid Oxide Fuel Cells. Notable achievements include receiving the Medal of Honor from the European Fuel Cell Forum in 2012 for contributions to fuel cell research and development. Bert holds a BASc degree in Applied Materials Science from HTS Utrecht, earned between 1974 and 1978.
