Daniel Adams is an experienced Photo Editor currently working at The Australian Financial Review since August 2022. Prior to this role, Daniel spent over two decades at the Sydney Morning Herald, where positions included Deputy Photographic Editor, Photographic Chief of Staff, Night Photographic Editor, and Photographic Assistant. Daniel's extensive portfolio includes coverage of significant global events such as the 2016 US elections, the Rio Olympics, and the Earthquake in Nepal. Earlier in their career, Daniel worked as a Geologist at CSIRO in the coal and energy sector following the completion of a Master's Degree in Hydrogeology and Groundwater Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science (Geology) from the University of Technology Sydney.
