Wenhai Xu

Wenhai Xu, PhD, FAIHA, MBA, CIH, CSP, CHMM, currently serves as the Global Director of Health, Safety, Security & Environment at NSF, where responsibilities include shaping the global HSSE strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Prior roles include Global Senior Manager of Safety and Health at Tenneco, where oversight extended to corporate safety functions across over 250 sites worldwide, and Senior Manager of Industrial Hygiene and Safety at Duracell, focusing on EHS procedure updates and training. Additional experience includes senior consulting at Kaiser Permanente, conducting industrial hygiene evaluations across various industries at Health Science Associates, and research at UCLA, culminating in a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences with an Industrial Hygiene track. Wenhai Xu also holds an MBA and a BS in Environmental Chemistry.
