Krystell Susana Santiago Estrella is currently an Almaworks Summer 2023 Fellow with experience in various leadership and communication roles. As Founder and Lead Host of the Science Beyond Jargon Podcast and Editor for the Columbia Undergraduate Science Journal, Krystell demonstrates strong initiative in science communication. Krystell serves as an Administrative Assistant and Newsletter Manager for the Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures at Columbia University. In addition to brand ambassador roles at Habits365 and Uproot Clean, Krystell is involved in several fellowships and scholarship programs, including the Arete Fellowship and Latitude Fellowship. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering and Applied Physics at Columbia University, Krystell has a diverse educational background that includes dual enrollment in mathematics and humanities, music education, and language studies.
