Michelle Kim has extensive experience in both occupational therapy and human resources. Currently serving as the Manager of Business Management and Strategy and previously as HR Program Manager and Senior HR Officer focusing on WHS Strategy & Reporting at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice, Michelle demonstrates strong leadership in HR functions. Prior experience includes roles as a Registered Occupational Therapist at AHPRA and Senior Occupational Therapist at Concord Hospital, alongside membership with Occupational Therapy Australia and practical experience at The Hands Physio. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Sydney and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from Excelsia College, specializing in mental health counseling.

The department enables services to better work together to support everyone's right to access justice and other help for families, and strengthen/bolster the promotion of early intervention and inclusion, with benefits for the whole community. Working together in the Stronger Communities cluster means we can continue to deliver services with a more unified and collaborative approach. There is now a greater focus on prevention and early intervention, faster responses, more seamless operations, less duplication of effort and better outcomes.
