Chris Lassiter serves as the Community Engagement Director at the Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge since January 2022, while also holding the position of Marketing and Communications Director at the Staunton-Augusta Family YMCA since November 2017. Previous experience includes roles as a Retail Sales Representative at both Shentel and nTelos Wireless, where responsibilities involved helping customers with tailored wireless technology plans. Chris gained substantial expertise in journalism as a reporter for The News Leader from August 1998 to August 2013, covering local sports and creating a sports podcast. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Shenandoah University.
