Ondrej Koch has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Ondrej started their career in 2006 as a Developer at NTK - National Library of Technology. Ondrej then progressed to become the Head of ICT Operations in 2013, the CIO in 2014, and currently serves as the Head of IT infrastructure department since 2019. In addition, they have also worked as an Analyst & Developer at the Ministry of Finance in the Czech Republic from 2010 to 2012 and briefly served as a Team Leader at DNS a.s. in 2012. Ondrej'sexpertise lies in IT infrastructure, operations, and development.
Ondrej Koch earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Czech Technical University, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Ondrej later pursued a degree in Information Systems from Prague University of Economics and Business, graduating in 2012 with the degree "Ing.". In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications including the Red Hat Certified Engineer from Red Hat in May 2013 and EU GDPR Data Protection Officer from TAYLLOR & COX.

Your Partner in the World of Technical Information The National Library of Technology (NTK) is the largest and oldest library of technical literature in the Czech Republic with a collection of over 1.5 million volumes. Its primary function is to provide specialized information resources and services to students, teachers, and researchers in the fields of engineering and applied sciences as well as to members of the general public. Housed in a modern, ecological building situated in the heart of the Czech Technical University’s Dejvice campus, NTK provides an ideal environment for students and scholars. It offers individual and team study rooms, classrooms, self-service printing and copying services, an After Hours Study Room open when the library is closed, reference services, and—last but not least—330,000 freely-accessible volumes of scientific literature (and over 800,000 in storage); 1,200 print journals; and access to over 50,000 electronic resources and hundreds of eBooks.The library is also a social and cultural center, with frequent lectures, educational tours, events, and exhibitions. NTK is an ideal meeting place, with a spacious ground floor, the Prague 6 branch of the city’s Municipal Library, a computer store, and a café. NTK also provides excursions, internships, summer schools, and continuing education courses as well as direct delivery services which enable patrons to order electronic versions of articles from anywhere in the world. At the national level, NTK manages the National Repository of Grey Literature and the Czech National ISSN (International Standard Serial Number) Center and integrates its activities with neighboring universities and research institutes including ChemTK (collaboration with the Institute for Chemical Technology Prague and the Czech Academy of Science's Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry) and the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
