Romain Laporte

Romain Laporte, Ph.D., currently serves as the Sales and Scientific Marketing Manager at NuChem Sciences since January 2023. Previously, Romain held the position of Senior Research Scientist I in Process Chemistry at OmegaChem Inc. from May 2019 to January 2023, focusing on experimental organic synthesis and robust process development. Romain’s background includes experience as a National Coach for the French Under-21 Kayak Polo Team and as a Physics-Chemistry Professor at the French Ministry of National Education. Romain completed a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry at Université de Caen Normandie, where research concentrated on synthesizing potential antibacterial and antiviral drugs, and has participated in various roles related to canoeing coaching. Romain is further enhancing marketing expertise through certifications in Professional Marketing and Digital Marketing.
