Yuniel Fernandez Marrero

Yuniel Fernandez Marrero is a Senior Scientist II at NuChem Sciences - Sygnature Discovery North America since August 2022, previously serving as a Senior Scientist I. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre from October 2019 to July 2022 and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Pharmacology, University of Bern from September 2017 to October 2019, focusing on the control of mRNA stability of BCL2-related genes. Yuniel also completed a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Bern and has a Master's degree in Biochemistry and Immunology and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Havana.
