Nima Mohajerin

Nima Mohajerin is a skilled Senior ML/Software Engineer at Nuro since May 2022, bringing extensive experience in machine learning and deep learning research. Prior to Nuro, Nima served as a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at Microsoft from October 2019 to May 2022 and worked as a Deep Learning Research Scientist at Huawei Technologies between January 2018 and September 2019. Nima's academic background includes a PhD in Robotics and Deep Learning from the University of Waterloo, where studies were conducted from 2012 to 2017, alongside Master's degrees in Computer Science/Robotics and Intelligent Systems from Örebro universitet and Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. Nima also holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University and has experience as a part-time Data Analyst with Kinsol Research Inc. and as R&D Lead at K.A.S. in Iran from 2004 to 2008.
