Jose Reyes is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of NuScale Power, a position they have held since July 2007. Prior to that, they worked at Oregon State University as a Professor Emeritus in the Department of Nuclear Engineering & Radiation Health Physics since September 1987.
Jose Reyes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1975 to 1978. Jose then pursued further education at the University of Maryland, completing a Master of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from 1981 to 1984. Jose continued their studies at the same university and obtained a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from 1981 to 1987.
