Mike VanCleave, PE, PMP, CM2-C, has extensive experience in project and systems engineering, currently serving as Program Manager and Project Manager at NuScale Power since February 2014. Prior to this, Mike held various roles at SNC-Lavalin Constructors from July 2006 to February 2014, including Assistant Project Manager, Resident Engineer for a major power plant project, and Lead Process Engineer. Other notable positions include Senior Process Engineer at Brown and Caldwell and Lead Process Engineer at Kennedy/Jenks Consultants. Mike's career began with roles at Seattle Steam Company, Dickinson Equipment Company, and the US Navy, where responsibilities included the operation and maintenance of complex systems and equipment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, along with a Project Management certification.
