Maarten Wieringa

Maarten Wieringa is an experienced packaging specialist with a robust background in global packaging management. Currently serving as a Global Packaging Specialist at Nutreco since 2015, Maarten has developed expertise in global packaging procurement. Prior to this role, Maarten worked as a Global Packaging Specialist at Corbion-Purac from 2005 to 2015, overseeing the packaging policy for all products across nine production sites globally. Maarten's experience also includes serving as Manager of the Business Office, Production, and Logistics at INTOS interieurmakers from 1999 to 2004, and as an International Packaging Specialist at Sigma Coatings (PPG Industries) from 1989 to 1999, where responsibilities included packaging development and management of the packaging department. Maarten holds advanced qualifications in packaging science from the NVC - Nederlands Verpakkings Centrum and an engineering degree in industrial design from Delft University of Technology.
