Rick Weiss is an experienced engineer with a strong background in physical design, integration, and verification across multiple leading technology companies. Currently serving as an Engineer at NUVIA Inc. since July 2020, Rick previously held roles at Intel Corporation as a Physical Design SOC Integration Verification Engineer, enhancing verification flows and overseeing 10nm tape outs. Rick's prior experience includes positions as a Technologist, Technical Leader, and SMTS Engineer at firms such as Cadence, AMD, and IBM, where significant contributions were made to chip design methodologies and high-performance chipsets for major clients. Rick co-founded First Pass Inc, focusing on RTL2GDS implementation, and boasts advanced degrees in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology and Stony Brook University, respectively.
