Dustin Brown has worked in various engineering roles over the years. Dustin started their career at Raytheon in 2004 and 2005 as an Electrical Engineer Intern. Dustin then joined Raytheon again in 2006 as an Electrical Engineer until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, Dustin worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Dayton. Since 2014, they have been employed as a Senior Electrical Engineer at NuWaves Engineering.

Dustin Brown obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2002 and 2006. Following their bachelor's degree, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2007 to 2009. After completing their master's degree, they attended the University of Dayton from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Electrical Engineering. In addition to their academic achievements, Dustin obtained the certification of Engineer in Training from the Ohio Professional Engineers and Surveyors Board in March 2012.
