Michael Houser

Michael Houser, GISP, is a seasoned GIS Specialist with extensive experience in geospatial technologies and applications. Currently employed at NV5 since June 2018, Michael coordinates with engineers, planners, and environmental scientists on various roadway, natural resource, and cultural resource projects, handling fieldwork, data management, and complex cartographic product creation to meet regulatory requirements. Previously, Michael served the City of Raleigh Municipal Government, providing enterprise GIS solutions for stormwater asset management and improving processes in the stormwater management division. Michael also contributed to Habitat for Humanity International as a Demographics and Market Analyst, specializing in location analytics and market trend analysis. Academically, Michael holds a Graduate Certificate in Geospatial Information Science from North Carolina State University and an Environmental Studies Bachelor's Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
