Kevin Larson has over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting. Kevin began their career at Ford Motor Company in 1990 and worked there for 10 years. Larson then joined Pemstar as a Division Controller, where they managed accounting and finance activities for multiple manufacturing sites. Kevin implemented a business performance measurement system to track operational progress. Larson later became the VP Corporate Controller at Select Comfort, where they oversaw all accounting functions and prepared reports for filing with the SEC. At Hawker Beechcraft, Larson served as the Director of Accounting, achieving a 20% reduction in the month-end reporting cycle. Kevin also evaluated contracts and determined appropriate accounting treatment. Larson then moved to GKN Aerospace as the Financial Controller, managing planning, analysis, and financial reporting for the manufacturing division. Currently, Larson is the VP Finance at TECT Aerospace, where they partner with the CEO and VP Sales to develop strategic plans and improve profits through pricing strategies and leveraging existing infrastructure. Kevin is responsible for pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management for multiple sites across two states.
Kevin Larson attended Wheaton College from 1982 to 1986 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics & Accounting. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance, General at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, completing the program from 1989 to 1990. In 2014, they also participated in the GKN Financial Leadership Program at UCLA Anderson School of Management. Kevin Larson obtained their certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of Illinois in September 1989.
