Jason Giallonardo has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jason began their career in 2000 as a Supplier Quality Engineer at Celestica, where they worked until 2002. In 2003, they became a Technical Consultant and Translator in a self-employed capacity. Jason then joined Integran Technologies Inc. in 2004 as a Process/Quality Engineer until 2006, after which they transitioned into the role of Project Leader/Manager, responsible for Process and Quality. This role lasted until 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Jason worked as a Research Engineer at Dana Holding Corporation. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Engineer/Scientist/Technical Officer at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization starting from April 2016.

Jason Giallonardo completed their education in a chronological manner. Jason earned their Secondary School Diploma / Ontario Scholar from Ascension of Our Lord Secondary School in 1996. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto, completing their studies in 2000. Later on, they furthered their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the same institution, which they completed in 2013.
