Pat Erick Buna

Pat Erick Buna has a diverse range of work experience, with roles in various companies.

Pat Erick is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of nXscale, where they are involved in building and designing outsourcing operations and leading the strategy for helping global startups build and scale teams in the Philippines.

Prior to this, Pat served as the Chief Financial Officer of LM10 Corporation, an Agtech company with projects in land management, energy crop production, trading of agriculture commodities, and more.

Before LM10 Corporation, Pat worked at Canva as the Head of Finance, where they were responsible for establishing the Finance Shared Services function and maintaining the accounting books for the company.

Pat Erick also held the position of Financial Planning and Analytics Head at TrueMoney Philippines and Finance Manager at Globe Telecom, where they handled bank reconciliation and was accountable for the maintenance of SAP accounting books.

Pat's earlier experience includes roles at SM Prime Holdings, Inc. as an Internal Audit Manager, Emerson Process Management as an MEA Internal Controls and Checkpoint Auditor, and KPMG Manabat Sanagustin & Co., CPAs as a Supervisor, where they were involved in audit planning, performance, and reporting.

Pat Erick Buna completed their high school education at Eastern Samar National Comprehensive High School from 2001 to 2005. Pat Erick then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accountancy from the University of the Philippines, graduating in 2010. Currently, they are enrolled in the Asian Institute of Management, where they are pursuing an Executive MBA degree from 2021 to 2023.
