Irina Shinkareva has been with NYBAY since its founding and heads the Firm's European business. She has particular interest and expertise in fashion and e-commerce, having worked as the New York correspondent for the Russian edition of Elle Magazine (Elle Deluxe).
Irina previously worked as management consultant for Bain & Company in London and Moscow, serving a variety of clients in their restructuring and international expansion strategies. She has also worked in Corporate Finance and M&A in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York.
Irina holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Ph.D-M from the Russian Academy of Sciences, and a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State Lomonosov University. She was born and raised in Moscow and is a dual US-Russia citizen.
