Joy Cho has had a diverse and accomplished career in marketing and research. In 2020, they joined Nymi as a Marketing Manager, where they were challenged to become a one-woman Marketing department. Prior to that, they were an intern at Ogilvy, where they crafted strategy for KFC, American Express, Red Stripe, Assist Card, and Starbucks. Joy also interned at rbb Communications, where they supported the Digital Marketing team in social media management and copywriting. In 2018, Joy worked at Barry's Bootcamp as Community Outreach & Marketing and Lead Front Desk. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Research Assistant and Research Intern at Florida SouthWestern State College, where they co-authored a case study on the completion-based education funding model and analyzed the personal views of Rama, Miskitu, and Kreole communities in Nicaragua.
Joy Cho has a diverse educational history. In 2013 and 2014, they attended Pace University - Lubin School of Business and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2017, they completed a Bachelor of Arts - BA in International Relations from Sciences Po Aix. That same year, they also began attending Florida International University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics in 2019. In 2022, Joy is expected to complete a Certificate in Marketing Management from Harvard Extension School.
