Joshua Bailey started their career in 2007 as a Mining Engineer at ECSI, LLC, before moving on to Nyrstar TN Mines in 2011. At Nyrstar TN Mines, they held roles as a Mining Engineer and later as a Short Term Planning Engineer until 2017. Joshua then transitioned to the role of Senior Mining Engineer at Nyrstar MTN Mines, where they eventually became the Chief Engineer in 2021. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in various aspects of mining engineering, project management, production planning, and business improvement.
Joshua Bailey completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 2007. Prior to that, they transferred credits from Elizabethtown Community and Technical College to the University of Kentucky in 2004. Joshua also completed 30 hours towards a Master's Degree in Mining Engineering at the University of Kentucky from 2007 to 2010.
