Darcy Wells, APR, currently serves as the Communications Director for the New York State AFL-CIO, overseeing communication for a federation that represents 2.5 million members, retirees, and their families. Previously, Darcy held the position of Director of Public Information for the New York State Police, managing media inquiries and serving as a liaison for public relations. Prior experience includes serving as Public Relations Director for the NYS Public Employees Federation, advising the President on media matters, and working as a reporter and news director at various news organizations, including WRGB and WTRY Radio. Darcy holds an Associate Degree in Journalism from SUNY Morrisville.
