Kristen Geisler is a seasoned photo editor with extensive experience in leading editorial photography for prominent publications. Since September 2018, Kristen has served as a Photo Editor at The New York Times Magazine. Prior to this, Kristen was a Project Photo Editor at ESPN from March 2013 to September 2018, where responsibilities included editing photography for ESPN Magazine's Body Issue. Kristen's career also includes roles as Photo Director for Cooking Light at Time Inc. and Marie Claire at Hearst, where Kristen oversaw teams and executed high-profile celebrity shoots. Experience at Blender and GQ further solidified Kristen's expertise in managing photography departments and cultivating relationships with top industry professionals. Kristen began the career with an internship at Annie Leibovitz's studio in 1997, following a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan and additional studies at the International Center of Photography.
