Yousra Yusuf

Yousra Yusuf is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at NYU Langone Health since April 2021 and has extensive experience in public health leadership and research. Previously, Yousra served as President of the South Asian Public Health Association from November 2014 to January 2022, after holding roles as Vice President and Treasurer. Yousra also worked as a Project Coordinator at NYU Langone Medical Center, managing health needs assessments and qualitative studies in diverse South Asian communities. Other roles include Academic Consultant at the Arthur Ashe Institute for Urban Health, HDRTP Fellow at the NYU Center for the Study of Asian American Health, and Special Projects Intern at Women Deliver. Yousra holds a PhD in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, an MPH in Epidemiology from State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University, and a BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology from Stony Brook University.
