Cristian Opazo is currently the Director of Educational Technology at New York University College of Dentistry, where responsibilities include establishing and implementing long-term strategies for technology-enhanced education in collaboration with the teaching faculty. Previously, Cristian served as a Senior Instructional Technologist at NYU IT, focusing on curricular projects involving learning technologies. Prior experience includes roles at Vassar College as a Senior Academic Computing Consultant, where Cristian managed the Scientific Visualization Laboratory and consulted on curricular development and e-learning initiatives, among other duties. Cristian also taught courses in Computational Science and provided computing expertise for research teams. Educational qualifications include a M.Sc. in Experimental High Energy Physics from Michigan State University and a B.Sc. in Physics from Universidad de Chile.
