Bharath Kumar Malapati is a seasoned cloud architect with extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Architect at NZ Super Fund since March 2022, Bharath provides architectural consulting to enhance cloud operations. Previously, as an Azure Cloud Solutions Architect at Aderant, responsibilities included leading the design and deployment of scalable Azure applications. Bharath's prior role as a Senior Data Architect at Fiserv entailed developing mobile banking database systems and overseeing database design and administration. The New Zealand Superannuation Fund invests money, on behalf of the New Zealand Government, to help pay for the increased cost of universal pension entitlements in the future. By doing this the Fund adds to Crown wealth, improves the ability of future Governments to pay for universal pensions, and ultimately reduces the tax burden on future New Zealanders. A long-term, growth-oriented investor, the Fund has around NZ$40 billion in assets, including $6 billion invested in New Zealand. The Fund is managed by a Crown entity, the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation.
