Depuis le 1er mai 2010, l'Organisme d’autoréglementation du courtage immobilier du Québec (OACIQ) a pris le relais de l'Association des courtiers et agents immobiliers du Québec (ACAIQ). Avec l'entrée en vigueur de la nouvelle Loi sur le courtage immobilier, l'OACIQ assure désormais l'encadrement du courtage immobilier au Québec.
