Maria Smith

Maria Smith is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Assistant Principal at Oak Grove School District since July 2021, with a focus on serving 7th and 8th grade students and holding roles as an AVID District Director and Site Coordinator. Prior roles include Assistant Principal and Principal at Berryessa Union School District, where responsibilities encompassed managing Toyon Elementary School and leading various educational initiatives. An Independent Educational Consultant for Step Up to Writing from 2005 to 2013, Maria delivered professional development for multiple districts.
