Ewan Wakeman is a seasoned data professional currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst at Oak National Academy since July 2023, focusing on designing a data strategy to benefit schools and educators. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at NHS England, where Ewan held multiple roles including Senior Analytical Manager and Data Scientist, contributing to the development and maintenance of machine learning forecasting models, particularly during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ewan also played a key role in enhancing NHS data science architecture. Prior to NHS England, Ewan worked at Teach First in various capacities related to data and impact, as well as having experience in program administration at Volt Consulting Group. Ewan holds a 2:1 degree in Psychology from the University of Plymouth and has a solid educational background from Canterbury College and Sir Roger Manwood's School.
