Jonathan Free

Jonathan Free, MBA, currently serves as the Director of Global Partnerships at Oak View Group, overseeing strategic sponsorships and innovative partnership solutions at the Santa Clara Convention Center since January 2025. Prior to this role, Jonathan was the Manager of Strategic Partnerships at Future Motion, where efforts centered on expanding retail through strategic marketing partnerships. Jonathan also held the position of Director of Corporate Partnerships with the Santa Cruz Warriors, successfully managing sponsorship sales and community relationships. As President and COO of Santa Cruz Waves, Jonathan was instrumental in the management and growth of a key media enterprise in the region. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Sales at Hotline Wetsuits and as an Account Executive at CBS Television Studios, focusing on revenue growth and client relationship management. Jonathan holds an MBA from California State University, Monterey Bay and a degree in Public Relations/Business Management from San José State University.
