Jon Carroll

Jon Carroll is an accomplished academic in anthropology, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Oakland University since August 2013, where a diverse range of courses including Introduction to Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology of North America are taught. In addition, Jon holds various roles at Michigan State University, including Adjunct Assistant Professor and former Visiting Assistant Professor, contributing to the Department of Anthropology. Prior professional experience includes a consulting position at Booz Allen Hamilton focused on Information Technology and Research Support, as well as earlier roles as an archaeologist and lecturer. Jon holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from Michigan State University, along with a Master of Humanities and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Wright State University.
