Oakville Public Library

The Oakville Public Library continually strives to provide our communities with valuable resources that educate, entertain, create opportunity, and encourage literacy. From the traditional paper-back book, to video games and DVD’s, we offer a wide selection of items to borrow and utilize, including digital services for downloading audio books, reading comics, and streaming movies and music. The Oakville Public Library has six branches located across the Town of Oakville, providing each neighbourhood with easy access to free Wi-Fi and computers, space for studying and reading, as well as great programming tailored for all ages, skill-levels, and areas of interest. In addition to these services, we have taken steps in developing more inclusive and cutting-edge community resource centres by updating our technology, renovating our branches, and introducing community maker spaces, such as the Creation Zone at our Iroquois Ridge Branch. The Oakville Public Library aims to inspire and motivate the community, and we will continue to provide our customers with opportunities for personal growth.
