Yoshi Yanagisawa is Managing Director and Representative Director with OANDA in Japan, responsible for driving the business in one of the world’s largest retail foreign exchange markets. He brings more than 30 years of knowledge and experience in the forex industry, both on the buy- and sell-side.
Prior to OANDA, Yoshi had an impressive career as a foreign exchange interbank trader, working with leading institutions including Bankers Trust Company, BHF-Bank, AMRO Bank, HSBC and State Street Bank and Trust Company, where he was Senior Managing Director and General Manager of the Tokyo office for seven years. He also led and developed a business with Japanese retail FX aggregators.
Yoshi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Gakushuin University.
