Rav Saidha has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They are currently employed at OANDA as the Head of Operations since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Risk and Regulatory Operations at the same company from July 2022 to May 2023. Before joining OANDA, Rav worked at GPP Group as the Head of Business Transformation from January 2019 to January 2021. They also gained extensive experience at IG, where they held multiple roles including Head of Commercial and Transaction Reporting from February 2018 to February 2019, Head of Transaction Reporting from June 2016 to February 2019, Middle Office Manager from February 2014 to June 2016, Product Controller from August 2010 to February 2014, and Client Services Co-ordinator from March 2009 to August 2010. Additionally, Rav co-founded the Retail Derivative Forum in 2017 and served as its Chair, focusing on establishing a common understanding and unified approach to global Transaction Reporting requirements for Retail Derivative firms. They also have prior experience as a Retail Team Leader at Clarks from May 2004 to March 2009.
Rav Saidha obtained professional qualifications in management accounting from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and International Finance at Cass Business School from 2005 to 2008. In addition, they also had a one-year exchange program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2006-2007, during which they continued their studies in Banking and International Finance.
